Warm Water Can Make Slim Body

In a research published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism in 2003, researchers found that drinking 500 ml or about 2 cups of water can increase metabolism by 30 percent. About 40 percent of the heating effect thermogenetic is produced from water with a temperature of 22-37 degrees Celsius, as reported by LIVESTRONG on Wednesday (09/13/2011).

Water is a major element of cells and tissue. Approximately, 83 percent of blood is also composed of water, which helps remove toxins and waste products that can inhibit weight loss. Diligent drinking warm water can make the body stay slim.

Besides having the capability of detoxification, water also can help the process of weight loss in other ways, including when you drink it at warmer temperatures.

This occurs because of the effects of thermogenesis. Thermogenesis refers to heat or energy produced in the body during digestion, absorption and transport nutrients, according to the Rowett Research Institute.

There are still many other benefits of consuming water. Drinking water at any temperature can make you feel full. In addition, drinking two glasses of water before meals can reduce the number of calories consumed at meals.

In a study presented at the 240th National Meeting of the American Chemical Society in 2010, scientists revealed that participants who drank water before meals three times a day to lose weight about 2.27 kg compared with not consume much water.

Although the warm water can help you lose weight, but you still have to eat balanced meals and exercise regularly for the long term, thus gaining a healthy weight loss. Although water is essential for health, but water does not provide all the nutrients the body needs.
