Most people blush often when they are younger and it's no big deal. The unfortunate few that continue to blush into their later years often find it embarrassing and uncomfortable. Relaxation comes in many forms: yoga, meditation, deep breathing exercises, diverting your attention, refocusing, etc. Basically anything that you enjoy that is calming can be used to relax.
One of the truly different ways to prevent blushing is to use hemorrhoid cream to control the issue. Simply apply a small even amount of the cream in areas that you are prone to blushing. That helps regulate the blood flow to those areas and ideally prevent excessive blushing. Make sure you are careful with the cream and do not get it into your eyes, nose or mouth.
With the recent advances in the movies, many lines of heavy makeup have come on the market that can help you cover up any bothersome blushing. Buy one or two types and try them out. Be sure to follow the directions so that you can achieve the maximum coverage possible.
